Nutrition
We pride ourselves on the innovative nutritional solutions and comprehensive advice that we can offer to enhance all aspects of performance on farm.
Both our sales & technical teams are nutritionally trained and on the Feed Adviser Register. A large emphasis is placed on continuous staff training so our advisers are up to date with the latest technologies and nutritional products available to the market.
Communication with our customers is key to maximising farm performance. We offer a range of services including forage analysis and diet analysis with the use of DietCheck® software to assess energy, protein and mineral intakes to formulate a balanced diet.
Our team of experienced nutritionists formulate our rations to complement the forages available locally, and blends can be tailored specifically to the needs of your herd or flock. With a large choice of quality raw materials and specialist feed technologies we can supply a product to suit all production systems.
Technology
Both our feed mills are specifically for ruminant only production. The latest computerised control systems ensure total consistency in terms of the quality of feeds produced. On each site we produce nuts, pellets and blends with the ability to manufacture farm specific blends. An ongoing investment programme ensures that both mills consistently operate at the optimal level of efficiency. Both mills are compliant with and audited to current UFAS, DAERA, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards.
Feed Assurance
We source only the finest quality ingredients from both global and local markets, with full traceability assurances guaranteed. Using state-of-the-art Near Infra-Red (NIR) technology, all raw materials are tested to ensure they meet our exacting standards. Furthermore, finished products are tested daily to ensure high levels of quality are maintained throughout the production process. We are also a Food Fortress member, placing us in a world leading position in terms of product quality assurance.
Delivery
We operate a customised distribution service provided by a team of specialist hauliers. Due to the geographic location of our two mills we can easily deliver feed to customers throughout Ulster, North Connaught & North Leinster. Our delivery fleet is all independently TASCC approved.
